Our 10 Step Hiring Process At a Glance:
- Extensive interview with Director of Client Care Services
- Employment and personal reference check
- Criminal background check upon hire. Random checks thereafter
- Drug screen (complete) upon hire. Random checks thereafter
- KY Nurse Aide Abuse Registry check upon hire. Random and annual thereafter
- Negative TB test/chest x-ray upon hire and annually thereafter
- All Caregivers covered by worker's compensation, unemployment and liability
- All Caregivers bonded and insured
- All Caregivers employed by Assurance (not contract workers) and all payroll, Social Security and Medicare taxes paid
- Thorough orientation conducted by our On-Staff LPN with ongoing and case-specific caregiver training and education
Our Director of Client Care Services and On-Staff LPN Will Assess Each Client and Create an Individualized Plan of Care
This enables Assurance Home Care
to meet the needs of our clients and their families and to clearly specify the duties our caregivers
are to perform. Furthermore, Assurance’s Client Care Coordinators and staff LPN will communicate with each client and/or their family on a regular basis to be sure that their directives are being followed.
